Service Schedules
Our Christian Education ministry offers classes throughout the church calendar year that are biblical and basic; real and relevant in meeting the needs of the congregants to mature in their relationship with God, with others, and to “Build Disciples to Win the world for Christ.” We welcome and assist all to have an understanding of who they are, as the children of God, through the transforming power of God’s presence in their lives and to discover ways and means to respond to God’s unconditional love as disciples making disciples.
Christian Education Classes and Spiritual Enrichment
At Alfred Street Baptist Church, we recognize that everyone goes through challenging circumstances, the loss of a loved one, transitions, relational pain and difficult seasons of life. No matter how big or small our “Well Being”ministries (DivorceCare, DivorceCare4Kids, Griefshare, Recovery and HIV/Aids, Deaf or Hard of Hearing) are support groups to help persons experiencing pain from one of these life crises. To bridge the gap between the hearing and deaf communities with the ultimate purpose of winning deaf souls to Christ. To provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during the Sunday morning worship hour and during other worship services when requested. To provide ASL classes to the church community with the purpose of bridging the linguistic gap between the deaf and hearing communities. Last but not least, to establish outreach partnerships with the deaf community and the Alfred Street Baptist Church Family.
